God is an eternal and all knowing spirit. He is one yet exists in three distinct and eternal persons, The Father, The Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. God is self-existant, unchanging deserving of man’s worship and obedience.

More than simply good literature, the Bible is God’s plan for man expressed in written form. It is God’s revelation to people without any mixture of error. The bible is completely reliable and is intended to be the foremost authority in matters of life and faith.

Through Adam, we inherited sin separating us eternally from God. The Father, in His wonderful wisdom, set forth a plan for us. We are saved by grace through faith which is a free gift and cannot be purchased or earned in any way. God provided a way for us to be restored in our relationship with him.

The church is God’s plan for establishing and growing believers. The purpose of the Church is to glorify God by training believers to become more like Christ.  MissionSight does not believe that it can take the place of the church, but rather that it is to be a tool used by churches for the growth of its members.

God will end this world in His own time and by His own choosing. When this time arrives, Jesus will return to judge both the saved and unsaved in righteousness. Those who have established a relationship with Christ will receive their reward and spend eternity in heaven. Those who have denied and refused God’s plan will also receive judgment and be placed eternally in Hell which is a place permanently separated from God.

God created us for a relationship with Him. Understanding this we are to shape our dealings with others in the same manner and respect God gives each of us.
